Nokia n97 (defect?)

after getting the phone, it cannot turn on. any solution? Anyone has the same problem??

i send it back and got a new one. if you have the same problem send it back. I just want to share my experience.

the blinking on the left is infrared light, not visible to the human eye but cameras pick it up... It's used in TV remotes and stuff, I'd assume that's the proximity sensor.

i had the same problem when i got my n97, the thing was i had to charge it and it WORKED PERFECTLY after i charged it.
