oh i see! then it probably is really made for this kind of music: if there were any tempo changes (like in a sequencer) it probably wouldn't work that great. i guess it's a true DJ/techno machine!! thanks for the info! would you say that if someone already has ableton live, the kp3 would still be a good investment?!

first of all, you can change the tempo whenever you want! Either you change it with the knob or you tap it with the bpm button.

if you have ableton it is a really good investment, because you can use it as a midi controller. Just search for "KP3 as a MIDI Controller" and watch Denkitribe's video.
