@johnnnyreb51 yep, very important to move those tandems right, easy thing to forget as your leaving the dock.

@torchgun A class A for 15 years. I put on around 3 million. And the only time to worry about your tandems is when being weighted. Try hauling 59,000 in flat steel overloading my truck by 6,000 pounds gross and going around the scales because the whole rig weighted in at 86,000 plus. I did that run for over four months and never went out of two states Alabama and Georgia. Never left that steel plant with less then 55,000 pound. Boss knew it and said he would pay the fines if I got caught.

@jonfromstearns I dont knock these truck companies. I drove 25 yrs long before spring brakes, jakes and power steering I cut my teeth on "two sticks, no a/c, no power steering and no GPS".you had to know how to drive, read maps and hand fill out your logs.. some just do not belong in a cab and some do. I dont see the prfessional courtesy that was out there once.
But to the real drives.. my hat is off to you.. I know you earn your money...and money is far better now.

I drive for Swift and I can make these types of turns. Funny, how everyone wants to knock Swift, Schneider, Werner or JB Hunt....but if they needed a job, where do you think they'd go? I've been driving for 10 years. I still consider myself a rookie. I learn things everyday. Let's not lump all Swift drivers together. :0)

53' trailer with the trailer wheels all the way back. If the trailer wheels were forward 5 feet he would have made the turn.
