Tom Harkin attacks Rush Limbaugh on "phony soldier" misquote

Continuing the attacks by the Democrats on Rush Limbaugh, Tom Harkin (D-IA) is the next in line to misquote Rush Limbaugh either intentionally or out of ignorance. He cites Rush's "phony soldier" quote as an attack on all soldiers who disagree with Rush's stance on the war, when in actuality, Rush was referring to Jesse MacBeth who claims to have been a corporal in Iraq and witnessed several horrific acts by American soldiers against innocent Iraqis. In fact, Jesse only lasted 44 days in boot camp, never made corporal, never went to Iraq, and is fabricating his stories to make our soldiers look bad and help us lose in Iraq.

Tom Harkin should probably shut his mouth. He was too busy making sure Iowa State fans got to watch the Insight.com bowl against Minnesota two years ago and getting a little Hatian girl a visa to help me get VA compensation I'd been owed for 5 years. I wonder if anyone finds Harkin's phoney stories embellishing his war record to be "offensive"? Harkin's legislative record is an offense to intelligent discourse--he favors the Fairness Doctrine and Internet Neutrality; the first being a violation of the 1st Amendment, the second will open the door to more of that.

Harkin's actually been in the military. Jesse MacBeth (while his videos are on YouTube) has NOT. In fact, last year..he got sentenced to prison and mental health treatment.
