  • halo:) im so empressed of all your cake decoration:) im just wondering, have you made those in the philippines?or do you think the engredients are also found in the philippines?im goingback in pinas and i wanna make my babies first bday cake:)

  • hi, kamusta. ive been in the us almost 5 years now. and i only started caking last january so i did not have the opportunity to make these while back home. if you make the fondant, it's so easy to do it no matter where you are. you need mini marshmallows and powdered sugar--and just tweak it to adjust to the humidity of your location.

  • hi there! thanks so much for inspiring us all. just discovered utube and am very impressed with your willingness to share. do you add anything to the fondant before making the angels ? like tylose, or do they keep their shape with 100% fondant?

  • thanks so much. i used tylose to turn it into gumpaste and have it dry better and hold its shape.

  • So cute! Silly question, but did you use dowels in this cake and was the top tier sitting on cardboard?

  • yup, still used dowels and the top tier used cake board. i always do it that way now. if i did not do that, the bottom tier would either have folds ( the filling will start to be squeezed out ) and the fondant will crack at certain parts due to the weight of the topper and the top tier combined.

  • Hi Mayen! I just got my first client....a baptism cake! I love these flowers, can you tell me what mold it is! Thanks so much. P.S. I LOVE ALL YOUR CAKES!

  • How did you get the darker color of pink in the middle of the flowers.. what did you use??

  • So Pretty!! I Love how you design the flowers.

  • Nice job! I use the marshmallow fondant too. Tastes SO much better and its good to work with. It also has a kind of more pearl sheen than normal fondant and I like that.
