240sx in American come with either a ka24e or de depending on the year. this s13 has a vq motor from a g35/350z. its not turbocharged but centerfical supercharger, looks like a turbo but driven by a belt. if it was turboed it can be a single or twin. either both exhaust headers meet as one into a turbo or each have a turbo on them

you fail. severely....

Very nice fit. I was thinking about doing a single turbo VQ30DET in my 180. (I bought a motorbike instead)
With the Supercharger up top and up front, you won't have to worry to much with the exhaust headers if you do it right.
Looks like you did a great job there.

supercharger=higher torque at lower rpm's

hahahaha

@jeflagoon yes centrifugal are belt driven and work like turbos make boost as rpm rises so they dont have as much down low like roots or twinscrew
so i have a question guys ok i was wondering is the super charger better bc it has a constant power boost or a supercharger bc its high top end power??

There are different types of superchargers. This is a centrifugal type. Non positive displacement. Boost rises as RPM rises. A roots style or positive displacement makes boost at lower RPM but is a fairly high parasitic drag on the engine.

@tyndago forgot twinscrew which makes plenty low like a roots but has plenty of top end like a centrifugal only downside is price :/

But either is still not as good as a turbo for making power. Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords did a dyno test a few years ago. DId a test of the three styles and a turbo kit. The turbo kit made more power and torque than any of the other setups at the same amount of boost.

never been a fan of the VQ

Why not ? Its not a bad engine. Not as good sounding as an inline 6.
