yeah, 351w short-block will easily handle anything around 600-700. But it doesnt hurt to go ahead and get better rings, pistons and thicker rods!

Well looks like imma have to put at least a 302/306 motor in before I turbo it. At least ill have forged internals

HMM just what I needed to hear... So I can buy an ebay turbo then because that was my exact plan. Buy ebay stuff and run with it and in the process before it happens, buy a real turbo and replace boom done. Quick question, I have a stock stock block 351w F4TE and I wanna run 6psi... I have an efi spyder intake and full exhaust 3" all the way. Will I be safe with turbo although imma buy it and install anywaqys LOL

Wow, 6psi and can still here the blow off. Great looking car and what trips me out is it sounds like you have a clutch fan... Stock sleeper like a mofo until you here is PSSSSSSS all over the place.

Even not totally complete and it is still a really cool car! Awesome work!
Yep, good ol forged 302 and a 70mm will get you 450-500. After that the block will want to split in half :(

I wouldn't suggest it, I have 2 foxes with crate F4TE engines from ford and NA @ 300 RWHP mine only got around 38k miles before blowing oil. The black fox only has maybe 15k and just starting to smoke. Looks like they have really cheap rings. I had mine rebuilt with all forged internals and a stroker crank. I would never use a budget turbo unless you don't care about the engine.

Good ear, it does have the stock clutch fan! Making a mark 8 fan and variable speed control for it now. Also blew the china turbo up @ 430 miles, Turbonetics 78mm will be here in 3 days :))
