"Nine 11: The Story of Us" is a documentary film covering people's lives at the moment of the September 11th terrorist attacks. Seven people were interviewed who explained what 9/11 was like for them.

Connor, this is a really professionally-done short. Well-shot, lit, and edited. My only suggestion would be to give us a little more information on why you chose these people. Two knew people who were (or might have been) victims, but I wasn't sure who the others were. If they were just ordinary people talking about the impact of 9/11 on their lives, that's great, but maybe you could say that so we have a point of reference. Great job! You have a bright future ahead of you.

@deelybob Thank you for the compliments. I agree with your point. My idea was to get "ordinary" people and their point of view on 9/11, which is how I came up with the tagline "The Story of Us." However, I can see why that may not be clear. If I were to fix that, I guess I could have had a black slate with words explaining it and possibly a voice over. Thanks again! I appreciate it :)

Nice documentary my friend. The lighting was nice for the interviews, and I liked the way you used the second camera angle that showed the shadows on their faces. I think you really managed to depict the emotion very well. Plus, you have the same first name as me, so that instantly makes is good :-)
