I didn`t understand something you said. You said something like: If your car has ****(DSP or so?) it won`t work. what did you actually mean?

@maximilianlindner That is correct, if your car is equiped with a DSP system, the kit will not work. If you have DSP, it will be stated on the from of the radio.

what an idiot ! you ripped the whole interior off to install your stupid kit ,,,I'm sure you will never be able to put it back the way it was installed by BMW

@camry4ever Actually, E39 has one the highest quality panel materials and solid design. Therefore you can assemble it back without any problems. And the kit is not stupid as the sound quality and song selection makes your ride much more enjoyable. Giving the fact that we sell more than dozen bmw kits every months, many people out there agree with me ;). But your comment is funny.

@szita2000 The sound quality on the FM transmitters is not great, and you sometimes have to retune due to station clashes (certainly in the UK). This is a more elegant solution, but you are right its more effort.
