And anyway, earlier on, in 22:5, it says that a woman that wears "that which pertaineth unto a man," aka pants is an "abomination." I personally don't know one Christian woman that has never worn jeans.

How do you get "rape" from that verse.
Its essentially says that if you hook up with a girl you have to marry her, you can't just sleep with her and abandon her or the kid you most likely fathered.

Is Brother Jed still rattling around? I saw him at the University of Kentucky with his wife and young daughter 23 years ago. He was calling all of us "whores," and all of the guys "whore mongers." It wasn't a very effective way to spread the word of God.

The bible states a lot of things I'm sure you have discounted. Hell just take Deuteronomy 22:28-29, would you marry your rapist, or ANY rapist for that matter?

The bible was written by man. And god gave man free will. So it just goes to reason that some politics of man would get caught up in god's "word" whatever that may be.

The kid in this video says "The bible is not as important to me as spreading the word of God cause God is love." Yes, God IS love, but the Bible IS his word. The Bible is where it says that God is love, so how can you discount other sections of it as not his word? If God wanted the Bible to be his word, he wouldn't have allowed anything into it that he didn't want us to believe.
