The Stranglers - Tank / Curfew (Revolver 1978)

I wish someone would make a decent music programme like this again. The UK used to produce some great music shows, but all I see these days are a pile of shit. Even later with Jools Holland has gone downhill, it used to be cool but now most of the people he invites on that show is just self gratifying crap so he can join in and boogie woogie along with.

I remember watching this on TV when originally aired, Excellent! Now that kiddies,is what REAL music is all about-Attitude,musicianship,so­ng-writing and delivery- I bet Simon Cowell hated it?

Best of all,introduced by the legendary Peter Cook....(is it me, or why is every cunt on tv, or every insipid 2 hit wonder nowadays a fucking legend)????

Don´t be so pessimistic,lots of teenagers or younger adults complain here in the forums about today´s "shitty music".

The "music industry" (incl. Sony/Viacom +all that garbage who ruined the better parts of MTV in 1997/98) are already paying their price with sales going down the drain...

The nightmarish events at last year´s German Love Parade also proved that some people are rapidly becoming too silly & look at Japan now!

@MrSKINFLICK Yeah I know, it's just some days the whole situation pisses me off, and that was one of those days XD

But I do know there are lots of young kids/adults who dislike what they see and hear just as much, and they find these great bands from the past who generated a sound more akin to their liking, and that's the way it's always been and that's great. Still, it's just so annoying that it's always been the minority who seem to appreciate real music. It's probably best that way though...

Kin AWWWWesome! Never seen this before,cheers for posting mate.Now theres a band that can play live..!!! Only seen them once (Livingston),fav all time band,great songs,great times...Genuinely feel sorry for todays youth who missed "Curfew and Bitching..ETC" when they first came out.I might be 50 now...but who gives a fuck,still luv jumping round to these classics!
