Thanks for the comment. It is my neighbor's treb, so I'm not 100% certain, but I think he just ran a pin through some eye bolts. That's why he puts his foot up against it...lots of friction. If you'd like, I can ask him for more details. I asked him where he got the plans for it, and he blew me away...he just figured it out on his own after watching some others operate. He's an engineer. He's also a renaissance re-enactor type...armor, etc

I am building a trebuchet about that size right now. That was a really good launch. What kind of sling trigger did you use for it? a hook?
