Test Pirelli Toyota Formula 1 2009 & GP2 Series 2011 PURE SOUND - Monza 03/08/2011

Today at Monza Circuit (Italiy) there were the first day of a two day of test of the Pirelli tyres for the Formula 1 and the GP2 Main Series.
You can see in this video a lot of nice accelerations, fast fly bys and more of the 2009 Toyota F1 car with an all black livery (you can see it also in white because I recorded it during an old test day last September) and a white and black GP2 car that is used in the current championship.

I know that the V8 engine sound isn't as good as the old V10 or V12. But I think you should see all the video because I recorded some sound that you can't hear while you're watching the races on TV.

@Dogman36 The black one is the Toyota 2009 and I think the engine is the same from the 2009, but I'm not sure. The white and blue car is a GP2 car.

Cacchio non sapevo che avessero fatto questa sessione di test in agosto! Era così bello una volta quando facevano la 3 giorni di test prima del gran premio, quanta nostalgia... :'( cmq bel video complimenti mi piace tanto la ripresa da sopra il ponte prima dell'ascari, non son mai riuscito a farne una che si vedesse sia il pezzo prima che dopo, devi essere proprio salito in cima all'anello :p

@19Bozzy92 well the engine is the same at years 2009 2010, 2011 and 2012 so there's no difference in that, the difference is in the chassis, because the toyota wasn't very good at that xD it's not much developed....

pd. they were testing the 2012 tyres no?

@ordnas1234 No, indeed you are not. Don't get me wrong, I love V8s (though V10s, V12s, and V16s can be better), but the 2009-present V8s sound stifled because of the rev-limiting. At the Ascari chicane especially, the GP2 car (kind of) sounds like a V16; it really is beautiful.
