  • Sounded even better after being run in for a few weeks. the babbling V6 got deeper and sexier as time went on.

  • thats aa german vectra gts 3,2 or 2liter turbo..not an bullshit US car.

  • correct, its the UK version of the 3.2 v6 GTS. (called Vectra GSI in the UK)

  • american cars too big, too thirsty on fuel,and dont go round corners.

  • Bought my 3.2 GSi in Feb this year [09] mainly because these cars are such good value for money. There are better cars out there [just in case Jeremy Clarkson reads this] but what other car offers: 150 + mph 0 - 62 in 7.0 seconds 35 + mpg Beautiful V6 engine Great looks [especially in GSi form] Great handling [only in GSi] Excellent reliability Low servicing costs [every 20,000 miles] Middle road tax brackett [curreently £220 pa Some nice 3.2s around for less than £5k Just brilliant !

  • i dont doubt it is a v6 but to me it just sounds like a 4 cylinder my bmw 325 i had was a straight 6 with a k&n and made one of the best sounds ever although it wasnt the fastest car

  • what an epic sound :)

  • Official Vauxhall figures;

    Fuel consumption (urban) 18.3 mpg

    Fuel consumption (extra urban) 37.7 mpg

    Fuel consumption (combined) 27.2 mpg

    0 - 62 mph 7 seconds

    Top speed 153 mph

    Cylinders 6

    Valves 24 v

    Engine power 211 bhp

    Engine torque 221.2 lbs/ft

  • Sorry, the 35+ mpg is at average speed of 75 mph. Also known as the extra urban consumption.

    Average is more like 32. Nearly as good as a 2 litre !!!!!!!!!
