@Jeffiast I used to be way into them, I mean they practice 12 hours a day, they must be talented, right? I no longer think so. It's not supposed to be analyzed, it's just supposed to be listened to with a gaping mouth and headbanged to. Even if they are inventive musicians, I couldn't listen to any of their recordings more than a few times, it just never sounds new.
LMAO they can't be compared they all produce wonderful music, but none off which are alike? maybe if you listened to gilbert or petrucci in depth you would realize theres a lot more depth to them than their shred
