Police inspector: Good afternoon.
Lyudmila: Good afternoon. This is Lyudmila Moiseenko speaking. My daughter told me that I was prohibited from communicating with my grandson.
Police inspector: Yes.
Police inspector: According to the decision of the juvenile prosecutor's office. I gave a phone call to your daughter last week and invited her to come to the reception office, during which I informed her [about this decision].
Lyudmila: Do you know the reason?
Police inspector: This was the decision in the interest of D.
Lyudmila: Is that it?
Police inspector: Yes.
Lyudmila: My daughter told me that if she did not observe this decision, she could be deprived of her child.
Police inspector: Yes, she could. If the decision of the juvenile prosecutor is not observed, measures will be taken and the child can be taken away from his mother. She must make sure that there is no contact between you and your grandson.
Lyudmila: But we did not see this decision! We are supposed to sign it.
Police inspector: No, no. I was given the order by the judge to inform your daughter about the decision taken by the juvenile court about the prohibition of the contact between you and your grandson; you are not allowed to see your grandson. I invited the child's mother and let her know [about the decision]. She bears the responsibility of fulfilling this decision. If she fails to do so, the prosecutor's office is in position to take a different decision and measures proceeding from the interest of D.
Lyudmila: I would like to see this document.
Inspector: Yes, you will be informed, too...However, D's mother was the first to be informed about the taken decision as she is a responsible person. She must make sure that there is no contact between you and D. Do you understand?
Lyudmila: Yes, yes. It's a good decision to conceal everything!
Inspector: I don't know whether it is good or not, but it is the decision of the public prosecutor's office and I was given orders to pass on this decision.
Lyudmila: Fine, thank you!
Inspector: I understand that it is hard for you; however, this is the decision of the public prosecutor's office.
Lyudmila: Thank you, I expected that.
Inspector: So you did?
Lyudmila: Certainly! I want to prove that my grandson is being sexually abused. The police do not want me to take my grandson to the hospital to record the fact of sexual abuse and now...I expected that.
Inspector: I think that the person responsible for the file will get in touch with you to pass on the decision to you and listen to your comments.
Lyudmila: Thank you!
