In my last upload I included "Amy" as a tribute to Amy Johnson. That song was a big hit in Britain in 1930. Almost everyone seemed to record it.
However, only two dance bands recorded this tribute song to her then husband Jim Mollison.
Vocal chorus by Pat O'Malley. Recorded 24th August 1932.

  • This is a really interesting record. I find it grows on me. I like these topical records.

  • Absolutely agree. The only other version is by Billy Cotton (which I have never seen nor heard).

I'm lucky to have the sheet music, don't think it sold well.
