robert gates did make foolish references about cold war during Bush administration. Those references were more to help republican agenda and instigate the "world Vs US" feeling in the general US public who depend only on US media for news.

He has either lot of cold war baggage, or he is just another redneck republican at heart. Both are bad news for the US and the rest of world. This man be better out of the administration as early as possible.

I used to make excuses for Obama too but no longer. I don't want a pragmatist. I want somebody with the balls to put an end to the corruption.
