    The ankle balance necessary to do these is insane. You need strong lower legs to do these; that's why this guy's lower legs look so developed (I bet he doesn't do a single calf raise). People think that pistols are meant for bigger thighs. Though they do work the thighs, barbell squats will do just fine. One should do pistols not for the thighs but for the lower legs. This dude's lower legs look amazing.
