Peter, Stressage at LMEC, 15/02/10

Working on lateral work and teaching him shoulder-in. I know at some points we were on 4 not 3 tracks and not in a true shoulder in, but he's not schooled since before xmas so I was pleased with him.

@supermojo10 I think you're thinking of a different LMEC.

Hi, just be careful not to collapse your shoulder to the inside when you are doing shoulder in. Keep them square with your elbows by your side to keep control of his shoulders completely. At the moment he is dropping through the outside shoulder in all his work, so correct shoulder in with the flexion coming from the inside leg to the outside rein will help with this.

It's fine :) I wasn't wearing my back support so wasn't as 'held together' as normal. He's also wonky in his mouth [im not making excuses here] but had a lesson yesterday and it's all coming together.
