Field Assets for the Iphone
Field Assets is a field data collection application for the iPhone and iTouch.
It enables the user to collect data on assets and their attributes in the field and wirelessly send the information in real time.
The application utilizes GPS, Google Maps, geo-referenced photos, voice recording, and free form text. You dont need to be a GIS professional to use the application.
Whether your project involves utility inspections and maintenance, road inspections and maintenance or fire and flood risk management, this application provides users with a comprehensive asset management tool.
Field Assets will save time in the field, data collection can all be done on the one device and problems associated with using paper records will be eliminated.
With the application users can:
Customize their own set of assets and attributes.
Verify their location and the location of an asset using the map screen.
Enter information, record voice notes and take geo-referenced photos of assets and their attributes.
Share asset data between devices using Bluetooth connection.
Export the asset data via email, Twitter and the inbuilt Asset Connect wifi server.
Email Google Earth KMZ files and CSV files to coworkers and clients.
Download the asset data posted on Twitter using Google earth, Google maps and Tweetphoto.
Display asset data on your own HTML inbuilt webpage.
Download asset data as XML, SQL and CSV files via the inbuilt Asset Connect wifi server.
