So why doesn't he give specifics? The spirits can only give him general leading questions, apparently. *sigh* anyone who is "convinced" by this, convinced themselves it was true before they watched it. And he's taking advantage of grieving people..... agh...... he is the biggest douche.

@VibrancySF You mean... anyone who was convinced this ISN'T true was well and truly convinced before they watched it. It's called lacking an open mind and any thirst for knowledge... or an acceptance that they or science don't hold all of the answers. The fact you can't understand why spirits don't give "specifics" shows that you have absolutely no understandaing of the process... and how a psychic gets their information... which is via telepathy and thoughts..... and symbols.

@elchicho25 The irony of course being... that you can give me any written conversation between 2 living people in human history.... and I can use the excuse of "cold reading", "warm reading", "hot reading", "fishing" and "lucky guess" to completely explain away that the conversation ever happened.... even though it did.

That just shows you how completely and utterly ridiculous it is for skeptics to use those "explanations" as any sort of argument against PSI.

@elchicho25 Actually "cold reading" is a technique.... not "evidence" of how someone achieves something. You can have several techniques. When you start to use a technique as "irrefutable proof" you have a problem with your rational. The problem is "cold reading" is an "explanation" that can only be bent to fit SOME of what a psychic gets... so skeptics come up with "warm reading", "hot reading" and then throw in "fishing" and "lucky guess" to make up what they can't explain.

@marlley08 You can!!! Go to amazon and look for books on COLD READING. With enough practice you can be just as good , or even better, than John in no time. There is also a video on here with Orson Welles explaining the process. ;)
