@andjames22 You don't need this to make dubstep. This is just for DJing. Only thing you need at the beginning is a DAW (a computer program for music creation), a pair of nice headphones and eventually an external soundcard.

Is latency/delay between controller and computer directly related to the computer's performance? or is it the controller?

@FireatWill35 It'll be the computer if there's a problem with latency - otherwise everyone on the internet would be saying they had massive latency issues with it.

@ConfusionGrows If you already have a laptop, it's cheaper than buying CDJs and a mixer, and you get the added convenience. So I think so, yeah.
