Two Strand Mini Twists on Short 4b Hair 6 MONTH CHALLENGE

My two strand twists after 20 months. My hair has about %60-70% shrinkage and is extremely dry naturally, so I can blow dry it to stretch and get twists that hang. Im learning to love the shrinkage. Ill have these in from June 2011 through August 2011.

ur twists look great! i love mini twists...i wear them for 2 weeks at a time...but i am so afraid of wearing them for longer than that...don't want them to loc. are you planning on washing them during hte 6 weeks? if so, could you do a vid on your wash technique? for some reason, my twists always end up feeling dry after i wash them. :-(

@NaturalSoleil Thank you very much...I did wash them and they shrunk up pretty badly. Then I stretched them with banding and they came aloose at the root. Its been about 2 weeks now. I really wanted to get to to June 23rd but these are getting tangled and I am finding lots of single strand knots.

I think my shampo might have been too harsh becuase yes they have been dry since I washed them. I wont do that again.

Thank you so much! I just cant wait to see them in 6 months. Im gonna keep putting these in every 6 weeks from Now ( June 1 ) to December. Im hoping to get some really good Kimmaytube type growth!!!

@RegrowingRene101 Thanks ...you can do them, just take your time and study a proper technique on washing if you choose to do so. Wash them wrong and youll have mess on your hands...Believe me...

Nice twists! Now mine are twists outs (2 day), twists been in for about 7 days. My head starts to itch when in more than week. I am 4b,c and I have a lot of shrinkage, I have tried to plat my twists which gives them a different and more fuller look. Funny, what your hubby said about the weights. I to moved to Ga, its hot but texas was hotter. You would'nt want to see my arms in the last video I posted. Thank God for YT. Thanks for sharing. B.)
