Born to Be Free
Christ is the way that has strengthen me
And I know I am a child of Light
I was born to be free
In the darkest Night,
He came and rescued me
I am a Child of Light
I was born to be Free
And even when I was trapped in my pain
When I looked to the world and received No gain
And all the Nights I cried out
I just want to be healed in Jesus Name!
He still made a Child of Light
I was Born to be free
By His Precious Blood
And on the Cross-he was slain
He died for everyone who would take his Name in vain
But who am I to Blame, when I lived a life of Sin and have done the same
I know there is a deeper part,
Because he has revealed the depths of His Heart
I know there is a deeper Place,
Where he calls me to see the countenance upon His Face.
Jeremiah once said and in the Book of Romans I once read
That before I was formed, I was in His Head.
In His Head? That really just blows my mind because that means he
Knew me before he hung on that Cross and was turned Blood red.
Ans his prayers were for me, before he turned real dead.
Ya that is right, I really did say Real Dead!
But you gotta remember he was the First that was Resurrected from the Real Dead.
So, I am Born to Be free, Born to be Free.
I Don't know about you, But Christ came to let the Captives Free
And if you didn't Know that means for you and me!
