@vegetarian7710 Dave got his entry into this show because of his YouTube vids. He is a founder of a survival school in Ohio. He does a great deal of primitive style archery for hobby and competition. The show plays him out to be much more military style of survival, but you watch his vids from 2008 he is as adept in primitive techniques and being a naturalist as Cody.

Its crazy that he actually hit a turkey with that arrow from a crappy long bow pretty much dead center after calling it to him without camoflage, etc.

Guess that's experience.
