...yes, a significant wind could well blow the glider over - especially if it's sitting on the ground and the tail, facing into wind, is lifted too high. Keep the glider's nose into the wind when handling the glider. For an on-feet flared landing, the wind could blow you backward & upside down if it is strong (e.g., 15 MPH or more) and you flare too hard, pushing the nose straight up. It's far better to learn and experiment and practice in very light winds, e.g., 5 MPH.
