Santo Daime -Teacher Plants

In this episode we interview Maria Alice Campos god mother of the "Santo Daime". She is a healer, spiritual, teacher and member of the council of the 13 Grandmothers. She has been conducting sacred ceremonial rituals using ancient medicinal plants of the amazon for healing and visionary purposes. Through her experience with the magic vine, she has developed a unique and priceless philosophy on the meaning of life, which she shares with us in this webisode. Beatriz Labate, is a antropolgist focused on the ritual use of ayahuasca in South America. She has written numerous books on the subject matter and shares some of her knowledge with us.

It sounds great, ayahuasca, teacher plant. But you have to live in Brazil to belong to this ayahuasca group , right? I live far away in Mexico, and here we are dominated by crazy politicians that allow people to get all the whiskey and alcohol they want but prohibit anybody from ingesting sacred plants. In Mexico you can buy a whole truck full of beer and this is legal. But if u buy a peyote button, you go to jail for it. I dont know if to cry or laugh.lol.
