I wonder what Anette thinks about this '"war". I think she must be kind of frustated not to sing like Tarja, as the success of Nightwish began with her. She knows her voice is not like Tarja's, and i think she tries her best to sing all these "old" songs we used to listen to with Tarja's voice. We can't blame her for trying to do her best ! And it's not her fault if Tarja is no more in Nightwish.

- "same tempo" - Compare Stargazers with Our Great Divide or Ave Maria. The probability of you being deaf is pretty high.

- "no flexibility" - She sings metal, old school rock, chamber music, folk, church music, even trance. See above the thing about you being deaf.

- Lastly: no, we are not getting bored.

Most of us are listening her since 14 years and appreciating her more every day.

You cannot get bored with the best of the best.

She is getting better live, back when theyn released Dark Passion Play, she was simply bad live... It give some hope for Nightwish that she improved so much in so little time

I'm sure I would have like Anette a whole lot more if she came before Tarja. And then I would have loved Tarja even more when she replaced her ><; But vice versa is like a total slap in the face o.o;

WOW....no offense towards Anette but this was just as bad as bad can get. Karaoke does not even fall into play here this was just ear splitting bad this song was so marvelous because of the high notes and emotion tarja put into the song....something Anette has failed to do with every song she has sang there has been no emotion she looks like shes just trying to play around on stage no feelings....

We should move this to private, people will consider us as trolls.

In the link you gave, even the very first note is wrong. As I have said she can't sing it in the original key so every note is different. It would be OK if the structure would be kept.

But it's not. She sings falsly. Random example: in 3:06 - 3:16 almost every note is off key and she's straining like being on death bed.
