"Constantine corrupted and perverted Christianity more than he aided it. He was an ambitious and superstitious Emperor who murdered his own kindred (his wife and son) while promoting Christianity. He paganized Christianity while using it as a political tool to solidify his Empire."-Paganism Surviving in Christianity By Abram Herbert

"The opening of the Fourth Century marks a new era in the process by which paganism poisoned Christianity. Constantine turned Christianity into a piece of political machinery." -Paganism Surviving in Christianity By Abram Herbert Lewis

@Decenium And you can see Sami did not even mention that Constantine may have not or is factual, not a Christian, because it ruins his argument. He claims to be well informed yet fails to mention a known fact? why is that? does he not believe even though it's proven, does he not mention it because it hurts his peace to murder claim or does he not know. This shows that Sami can be FOX news-ish as well, they fail to mention anything in opposition to their claims or he needs to research more.

@Decenium So that butt hurt remark is just childlike, and the state of mind has to do with far more than making a logic decision about Sami's side of the debate. it can also flip over and display why you disagree with Keith's side of the debate. He could have not put Sami in that pose agreeable, but it's up to you to decide, not the pictures stated above.Look for the validity in the argument, one does not have to be Christian or Muslim to agree with either side, or be bias just because they are.
-
@Decenium to top it off, it's a historical fact that Constantine mixed Paganism with Christianity before claiming conversion to Christianity to please his rule and stance. This is why I think he issued the Edict of Milan in 313, which proclaimed religious tolerance of all religions throughout the empire. ALL, that includes Paganism, any magic based or idol worship which Christians would not tolerate at all and Jesus spoke against. So if he isn't even a true Christian, this is more irrelevant.

@Decenium One way or another to kill or to deceive, gain followers etc, and then if your the type to agree and say "Hey all religions are bad" well people deceive and gain follower by other means, Atheism is a combatant of religious principles lacking a God or "superstition" or controlling aspect and yet still some of them are violent or have killed people, even some official and leader have been Atheist, so you cannot just make claims with no backing or historic accuracy.
-
@Decenium And it's only possible claims if your not following bible principality or understand it. If Christianity taught peace, that is all, anyone using it for anything else is wrong, period, you might use a bobby pin to pick a lock but the generalized object is for hair, so your usage of it is wrong, period. You can't pick and choose people whoa re not following the principles of it and say "Hey look see what they do" in that case all religions are not peaceful because they were all used>>
The second Sami opens his mouth, I just have to roll my eyes.

Constantine was not a Christian, Sami. You should study some history. Constantine fused pagan beliefs with Christian beliefs and therefore is rejected by any true Christian and the Bible itself. Taking him as an example is lame and is like saying that the Nazis show that all Buddhists and Hindus are for their actions because of the swastika being used.
