Just a sound clip (and photo) of my 292 starting, idling a bit, and then revving up.

Exhaust is true duals (1 7/8" pipe) with short Cherry Bombs and long tailpipes. Sound is recorded from behind the truck.

  • can anybody tell me which engine bolts up to a 58 edsel?

  • @JohnnyDesaint Which engine did it come with? Edsels were available with 3 different engine families, if I'm not mistaken.

  • Still photo W/Chevy sound !!

  • @Bootlrggerjim Bravo, you spotted a still photo. But you're an idiot. The sound is from the exact y-block pictured, recorded from behind the truck. Find me one Chevy that sounds like this and I'll buy it, sight unseen.

  • Are you using a Flowmaster or Magnaflow, or something? its the coolest song ever ;/

    5/5

  • @LuanDUB Cherry Bombs! Cheaper than Flowmaster and they sound a LOT better. Spread the word.

  • @RulerOfEverything it came with the 361 FE

  • @lovefordgalaxie ........really who cares.......Ys are good old motors, and they do have there own sound!!!

  • @Bootlrggerjim Chevy???????? No V8 engine sounds like an Y, and that's an Y. The only one that can compete with an Y is a Flathead Ford V8, but even tough, it's not so nice than the Y.

  • could of ben a chevy
