Tess 's last name is her married name. She is of Chinese descent and from California.

She is my favourite author! Just finished her book "the keepsake", she just keeps surprising me over and over again.

I find this book great, too. But because I read "Body Double" first, I missed Maura. And I find The "Surgeon" very cruel and bloody. It was so creepy.

She is the greatest author ever. I already thought that Maura is like her.

I have the whole lot of her books, the works, sitting very proudly in my library on the best shelf in the sitting room. So that everyone can see where a good book should sit, close to my reading chair to be enjoyed as many times as desired.
