Why doesnt the instructor show thrusting strikes? All he is doing is smacking the guy but he could easily be stabbing thrusting into the ribs and neck. Why not show this? Or he is only talking about the gay sport rules?

@Lee94503 That is pretty much how doce pares spars. its like a spazz fest and a few instructors teach smart fighting. but this instructor is just explaining close quarters hitting.

So its not really about blocking and countering (Not getting hit) Its really about hitting each other at the same time, but getting off MORE hits then the other guy??
