  • He's like a musical Stanley Kubrick

  • I find Scott Walker inspiring. He survived all the roumours of being a burnt-out case, but here he is, entirely sane and intelligent, doing exactly what he wants to do artistically. Go, Scott!

  • i loved seeing scott as he is now, he is a legend, best voice ever !!!!

  • Where did that video clip for "The Cockfighter" come from? I would love to see it.

  • The voice and the look are gone ...what a shame ! but thanks god the memories remain !

By the way the interviewer is wrong, Jacques Brel wasn't french but belgian (like Hercule Poirot !)

  • Actual genius is rare.

  • He was a genuine superstar and a part of the brilliant Walker Brothers. Much as I admire his early work, the later stuff leaves me cold. A true waste of his talent.

  • @gabe25591 i could'nt agree more...so many 3rd rate knowbodies around propping up on any TV show, particularly children in need,,a great charity spoilt by the coverage and participation of so called guests.... Anyone desribed as comedy royalty is past it,,,Vic and Bob....the establishment BBC love them because they are tame....

  • MrLawman calls his later solo albums trash. I also miss the romantic and lyrical Scott, but I think he simply went beyond general popmusic-based comprehension. Which is his right, as an artist. While not easy and not really pleasant to hear, he deserves respect for these daring musical ideas. He certainly gets it from other pop artist collegues, so he must be doing something good. Maybe in another 10-50 years, he will be named alongside John Cage and Philip Glass.

  • @milkyway2211

    for how much??

  • I am a Walker Brothers fan from the very beginning (1965). With the years I was able to collect all their recordings, records, live, rasreties, very rareties, etc. Is till live in the Netherlands but planning to move to South America. Therefor I offer my whole collection (ONLY THE RECORDS VINYL). Cannot take them all with me.

  • Fine doc Scott Walker - 30th Century Man ! I just watched it free on blinkbox.com.
