I do agree that seeking happiness only based on the feeling of happiness would be unproductive and eventually lead to artificial happiness.

But, while there is no actual dichotomy to feelings, there's a very concrete dichotomy that deals with YOU being satisfied with a situation: You either are, or you aren't.

And refusing to acknowledge you're displeased with a situation is usually just you seeking to disband yourself from the inherent responsibility you have to yourself of changing it.

I'm sure a lot of people are the same as me, but I've been a MUCH freer thinker and person, and actually HAPPIER since I have been atheist. I've come out of my jesus barrier and learned that things dont happen by frikin miracles they happen by real people doing REAL work.
