Animated segments for the first series of X-Machines on Discovery Channel
Each 8 part, hour long programme focuses on 3 of the very largest machines currently operating in the world. The animated diagram sections were made using real schematics, which served to illustrate complicated internal operations not possible to capture on film. For the sections highlighting the location of each story, NASA satellite imagery was used to create a CIA surveillance style zoom from outer space. Online to watch is a short edit of some of the animations made for the show.
