Praise God for my husband!!! And Ladies the key to getting a husband like this prayer is finding one who loves and puts God first!!! And likewise u do the same....when God is first in your life, He will give u the desires of ur heart!!! I'm speaking of personal experience!!! Thank you Jesus!!! 3

you're right, there is not one husband (nor wife) that is that perfect because we're all short of God's glory - we're all broken people. this broken road that they're singing about, is a road leading us to the only perfect Lover that will meet more than any expectations we can conceive and that's our Heavenly Father, Christ the Lord. Nothing in and of this world, even the beauty and wonderfulness of what marriages can bring, will ever compare to His grace. Ultimately, we're to glorify Him!

This is not reality but fantasy. How many people have husbands like that? I think I got the short end of the stick. Does that mean that God doesn't love me? You set people up for great disappointment with this sort of wishful thinking.

I love this - but it would have been better with music that had no lyrics as it distracted me from reading the words and I had to mute it.
