After scoping out the black & double black runs off Lone Peak, we tried them out on Monday, March 23rd. The video shows us skiing to the Tram, the ride up it to the Lone Peak summit at 11,166' and skiing to the Gullys via the traverse across the southeast face of Lone Peak. The pace was slow and deliberate as it was very exposed [if you fell, a long slide down awatied you] and rocky. This was the steepest run I've skied since the Lake Louise chutes in 2002.
sorry, but i was still learning how to edit videos using windows movie maker. i think that my recent videos are better and i learned how to add a soundtrack, too. take a look at the Tahoe videos from Feb to see the difference.

I was there last week too. Friday the 27th was insane!!! Dumped 14" Thursday night at it was clear on Friday.

thanks, and i was there on Fri, too; all week for that matter and skied a lot of powder Wed-Fri. Glad you enjoyed the video and you can look at the rest of them [7] that I posted last week.
