DevBlog - Part 4 -- Creating A Particle FX Manager
In our 4th DevBlog, we learn how to use create a Particle FX Manager system. Many other particle FX tutorials show how to spawn off a few particles. This system is DIFFERENT -- it is optimized for LARGE numbers of particles. There is a list of Particle Containers that can emit potentially thousands of particles from different world points. We also work towards a highly optimized stream-based solution for submitting the particles to the GPU in view-space. Marmalade makes this very easy for us!
