Marlee Matlin sings the National Anthem .

Lyrics below

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming? (I'm deaf)
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? (I love you)
And the rocket's red glare, (still deaf) the bombs bursting in air ,(real deaf)
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. (I won an oscar)
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave ( John Rich can blow me)

  • for a deaf person that is really good...I almost cried

  • not cool

  • Hey google. If you support Marlee and You have made a breakthrough on closed captioning in the internet world. Which I watched her conference with Google. Then I believe she would have you remove this

  • Wow...surely when you grow up into a man, if you ever do. You will be ashamed of yourself. I doubt you will if you are posting stuff like this.

  • thats terrible...why would you do something like that?

  • why is this funny? she's Deaf! do you laugh at blind people when they go to the movies? she can sing all she wants because last i checked, a disability doesn't define who a person is. she's Deaf and i would listen to her sing any day. take your ignorance elsewhere.

  • @203wee No it's not. Marlee has a beautiful voice, D/deaf or not.

  • That's just rude :(

  • Really Good..

  • @jlawton22 Yes you can learn alot if you are deaf and blind. I know a deaf blind man who is brilliant. Helen Keller was deaf and blind.
