Great engine in a great car. Cant wait to take it for a real spin. 5.0 EFI with GT40 heads, intake and unknown materials inside. Coupled with free flowing air filter, Hooker long tube headers and 2,5" excaust with straight glasspacks under the car and 2 cherry bombs in the rear with 3" outlet.

  • Use a stock 65 clutch pedal and weld the qadrant on that you buy from mustang steve (search him on Google) :)

  • So did you have to get your drive shaft cut shorter for the t5 cuz I know the original is to long. And what did you do for the pedal and clutch cable?

  • @DaFsPilot I actually both shortened the driveshaft AND bought a conversion T5 yoke. I think I could have used the original yoke and just shortened the driveshaft. I used the original '95 clutch cable that I routed through the engine mount. I had to buy a new cable cause I melted the first cable by routing it too close to the long tube competition headders. Then I had a hole in the firewall that I put the cable through and mounted it on the bracket, that I had welded on top of the clutch lever

  • Dont know the backspace. I bought them used. They are 17" and 8" wide with 235/40-17 tires. They are tight fit so i rolled the fenderlips on the rear. Car has been lowered 2'1/2 inches with reverse eye leaf springs and 620"' coils with 1 ring Cut off

  • Yeah i used the original 289 Oil pan and pickup. The clutch pedal is from a 67. Should probably have used a 66 but this is what I got from a friend and it fits ok. Since the T5 is a cable you need to weld a special cable attachment on top of the pedal before you install it. You can buy them on the net.

  • I unfortunately don't know the cam or engine output but i am planning to get a dyno pull. The air intake is from my local tuning shop. Don't know the brand:(
