I would love that:) I put out several feeders, and only one showed up. I hope it brings some friends next year! How many gallons of nectar do you go through in one season?

They usually return around the first of April in this area, but I've seen the first one as early as the end of March a few times.

They are not all females. There are many immature males and females in this video as well. Juvenile male Ruby-throated hummingbirds do not have red gorgets on their throats.

Ruby-throated Hummingbirds do not bite.
