Colon Cancer is a silent killer that creeps up on you when you least suspect it. It's no laughing matter. As I was finishing filming the walk thru the colon model, and unbeknown to me, I came out of the end of the colon and a Swiss yodeling maiden was there! Thats the LAST thing, or person I expected to be there! Who would know?

I wanted to film again without the distraction, but I was becoming late for an appointment and thought, "Well, maybe I can create more awareness with something totally unexpected in it"

And it made sense. Colon cancer *is* totally unexpected, and if you are late in making an appointment to have it checked, it will catch you unexpectedly and it can be too late. Colon cancer is no laughing matter. I, myself caught it in a nick of time when I was in my 40's. A little young since doctors recommend getting a colonoscopy by the time you are 50. Who would know?

  • you are welcome! sent you an email about our organizations grammy winner teaching children peace thru musical instruments and music...peace!

  • thanks Lisa...yes, it is, but doing the procedure will ave your life! I was lucky to have it done at an early age and caught it in a nick of time. Colon cancer is one of the number 1 killers, especially in men since they believe men have a bigger problem than women with people exploring those parts of the body (I wonder why?) anyway, thanks for the comment. peace!

  • They make it easy..BUT, the hardest part is the pre-procedure. You have to take certain drinks and medication that clean out your colon and slowly stop eating solids until you are on a complete liquid, colorless diet for about two days prior. Then, when you go in for the OUTPATIENT part you are given some medication to calm you and then some more to eventually put you out lightly..I've been awake for a couple of them..very interesting...then you go home and eat a giant burger and then some lol

  • Thanks for caring enough to remind us that we should never overlook the COLONOSCOPY ~ Oh crap! You know I hate to go!!! ))) LOL

  • Funny, sobering and Gross!
