Let's Go

One Note's Wife rides again!

It's been well over a year since Erik and I spent some "Studio" time. So, when he got a free weekend to come down, we decided that was what we'd do. We started out discussing covering something from the '90s or 2000s, but in the end, we went with late '70s new wave. :)

We decided on The Car's cool little song, "Let's Go". So, we went. :) Erik learned it, we sequenced the drums, Erik put down bass tracks and we futzed together some synth that sounded like what the Cars used. I sang it with some backup help from Erik. and then we both produced it.

Along the way, I took some raw footage of Erik at play as we recorded. Sadly, nothing of me. but, you can enjoy my dulcet nuts-in-a-vice vocals instead. :)
