Ouch!
-
@eminent727 when we did this play,the kid who plays frank did play it, but is he didnt know how to play piano, we would have just used the orchestra
-
When correcting my use of words, please try to spell the correction correctly. ;-}
Ironic, huh?
Wow, I used a lot of "corrects" in THAT!
The student originally cast in the role doesn't play piano. This actor was a "last minute" replacement. Ironically, HE does play.. and quite well. If he had been cast earlier, I would have been able to give him a "working" piece.
THANKS for watching!!

no offense, but charlies voice is just too harsh for this song, its supposed to be soft and sublte
-
he could have had the song sung lower, its just a piano part to transpose.
-
ahahahhahahaa
ya
and wen i saw the LACHSA version....they were fabulous....this is pretty ok...
When we did it our Frank could play the piano and our charley could sing :D

Nobody could play THAT piano. Like I wrote 3 weeks ago - it's a hollow wooden box.
As far as Charley's singing.. I don't have a witty reply!!

frank isn't playing the piano is he...?

The piano is a prop. I helped build it. Looks real, huh? If Frank tried to play it, his fingers would just bash into solid wood!
Ironically, the kid knows how to play - very well!

I love the backround on your stage. Is it called a backround? What is it called? I don't know. The starry thing.

The thing hanging in the background is called a fiber-optic light curtain. Colors and patterns are controlled by the same lighting console that "works" the rest of the stage lights. There are more sophisticated L.E.D. curtains that can produce images, but they cost big bucks, even to rent. Ahh - I just call them all pretty-twinkly things. ;-}
