@Numberofperfection "In the Bleak Midwinter" is a Christmas carol based on a poem by the English poet Christina Rossetti written before 1872 in response to a request from the magazine Scribner's Monthly for a Christmas poem.
.
It was published posthumously in Rossetti's Poetic Works in 1904 and became a Christmas carol after it appeared in The English Hymnal in 1906 with a setting by Holst.
.
You might want to hear rather: The Chio Of King's College Cambridge.

Cheers.

Beautifully made video. Thank you.

Bloody Moos have some really good original stuff. Unfortunately there are many artists that preceded them with better versions of this song.

I love the Moody Blues too. But the music is from Gustav Holst and the words by Christina Rossetti.

One of my very favourite carols; such beautiful words! Sung with such feeling, and the orchestration is gorgeous!! Thank you!...x Linda.

I love the December album. one of the BEST Christmas albums ever. I'm not a big Christmas Music lover. but these songs are awesome. makes one wonder why more people dont write songs like this for Christmas albums. Oh wait! thats right NO ONE can write music like the Moody blues.
