This is a re-edited excerpt from French duo Daft Punk's film Electroma . The plot revolves around the quest of two robots (the band members, played by Peter Hurteau and Michael Reich) to become human.

The two lead characters, credited as "Hero Robot No. 1" and "Hero Robot No. 2", appear as the robotic forms of Daft Punk. This my re-edited version of the film's opening scene which has the duo driving a 1987 Ferrari 412 with its license plate displaying "HUMAN". After passing through a Southwestern United States landscape, the duo arrives in a town...
Music in this re-edit is not Daft Punk.
The track "Simple Life" by The Juan Maclean seemed more fitting for the imagery, landscape and the film's subject.
Props of interest: Both heroes are wearing black leather outfits designed by Hedi Slimane (Dior Homme's head designer until 2007).
1987 black Ferrari 412.

  • @imonaboatmuther . Count yourself as an idiot. Where do you get your information from? Thomas and Guy Manuel do NOT play themselves in Electroma. They do not appear on camera at anytime during the 74 minute runtime of this film. I'm well aware that Thomas is totally into cinematographic direction and process. And both of them produced, directed, shot, edited and scored their film, which was shot entirely on Kodak Vision 250D color 35mm using an Arriflex 435. Exceptional work. Your point, idiot?

  • @imonaboatmuther... That's nice. You and Alex should enlighten both Thomas and Guy with this truth. I'm sure they'd be very impressed and grateful to you for your assistance. Also, submit verification order on Wikipedia and IMDb; they will need to revise Electroma postings as soon as possible.

  • @cliklab , I would like to have the composition is perfectly in his own modest collection

  • They sold that car for 25,000 pounds! What a GYP. It is worth so much more.

  • JUAN MACLEAN.....

  • @myrubypearl

Yeah, that's a Ferrari, not a corevette and *all* of the filming is by Daft Punk. So I guess you're calling them gay.

Most of the comments on this video are amazingly ill-informed.

  • Imagine if they used a digital stabilizing effect on this, everyone would say it's CGI haha.

I'd love to buy this car.

Too bad I'm just a teenager with no money lol.

  • I thought this was just funny at first, but the filmography is really inspiring.
