Of course bloomberg is against Occupy wall st. He's one of the righest guy on this planet stripping the poor with mass tickets and fines.

@Wordavee1 Others like Warren Buffet invest in hundreds of companies that provide millions of jobs, as he tries to get richer in the process. His money helps those companies grow because it helps them qualify for bank loans, bonds and stock offerings, which provides money to build new buildings, factories etc. One is GEICO. And during the 2008 crisis when financial institutions were falling over like dominoes, he poured billions into Goldman Sachs to stop it, helping to save millions of jobs.

@Wordavee1 Nearly every one of the top 1% earned their money by building a company from the ground up. (For those who easily forget, a company is a place where employees work. ) How many employees do you think it takes to become a billionaire? Even ones who inherited it- Waltons look what their grandaddy did...How many people "live better" by saving money at WalMart? How many employees do they have in the stores? How many millions more manufacturing stuff we didn't used to afford?
-
@Wordavee1 The top 1% wealthiest are also the top 1% job creators. Steve Jobs is the easiest example. Go back to 1997 and slap him and Apple with a 70% tax, so instead of investing their money into developing 270 million iPods, 132 million iPhones and 34 million iPads, and all the employees it took to design, make and sell half a billion of these things, they US government would have siphoned off most of the money they needed to accomplish those things. Jobs would've retired and gone fishing
-
Ok, you tell us which ones are the job creators. If the media don't discuss it, maybe it's because it is not happening?

@gilbet WHOEVER DOESNT WANT TO PUT IN THE EFFORT TO GROW THEIR OWN FOOD IS NOT A MAN IN MY BOK AND WILL PROBLEY DIE OF LAZYNESS......THIS NEW WORLD WE ARE TRYING TO CREATE WILL HAVE NO LAZY PEOPLE......IF U DONT PUT IN U GET NOTHING OUT...AND U WILL PROBLEY DIE UNDER A TREE.....THE EARTH NEEDS TO TRIM THE FAT IF IT WANTS TO LIVE...DONT GROW FOOD DONT EAT DONT LIVE..........BTW THERE WILL BE NO GOVERNMENT TO GOVERN ANYTHING!.....NO1 IS GOING TO "TAKE AND DISTRIBUTE EVENLY" LIKE U THINK IN UR BOX
-
@thiizzman510 The analogy is comparing vegetables to wealth and jobs since all three are products- they have to be created by someone who WANTS TO PUT IN THE EFFORT. We know If the government confiscates 100% of any of these things to distribute evenly among the people, they will vanish because nobody will want to put in the effort.
In real life, it's a sliding scale, with each percentage increase in taxes on building wealth causing a percent decrease of efforts to invest and create jobs.

@valflyinf "There have and always will be private sector jobs, no matter what". This is the opinion most people have- that jobs are just....there, like the Earth and the Sun. Jobs are products- they get created in the process of people trying to get richer. If nobody was trying to get richer, then there wouldn't be any jobs.
Steve Jobs was already in top 1% but WANTED TO GET RICHER, so he invested by rejoining Apple in1997 PRODUCED iPod & iPhone out of nothing, creating 40,000 new jobs.
@SuperSoul74 And now California is shutting dow dispensaries of marijuana. Good fight CA you lost to big pharma with their new drug with weed in it to replace organic weed. Scientology can suck it. I don't know what you mean with me trying to recruit you. Into what? Reason and truth? Then yes I would like to have you on my side. You have a right to an opinion and I have a right to tell you your opinion is misguided.
So your opinion: not fighting back, supporting mayor bloomberg? riiiight....
