I'VE BEEN IN THIS PLACE IN 0:30 ... BEST DINNER IN AMMAN.

I ONLY STAYED IN JORDAN FOR FIVE DAYS, I'VE TRAVELED A LOT AND THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE TRIP. I WISH I COULD GO BACK SOON.

I STILL CONTACT FRIENDS I MADE THERE ALMOST TWICE A WEEK.

I lived in Amman from 1951-53 on the RAF Station. I can vividly remember the sights, sounds and smells of downtown Amman. I used to pick up my "Eagle" comics at Dar-ul-Kutub every few weeks. We used the Petra Taxi Co. run by Salah Khalil. The Flouty brothers ran the shops on the camp. Even at 10 years old I had learned to say "Wahad shie min fudluk, Anton" at the camp cafe.
