@Banjerman07 Just for the sake of 'variety'. Those magnificent backup fills he's playing behind Josh are absolute PERFECTION. All these decades later--these old videos reveal Flatt & Scruggs as STILL UNSURPASSED--even by TODAY'S standards!

@bsontrop the "fiddle guy" is Paul Warren, check out Chubbyfan100's post of "Sugar Tree Stomp"

When you Google the Hylo Brown lyrics on the internet, there is ONE MORE verse, which, in this video, Hylo DOESN'T sing. Now, if he DID sing it, it would be natural for Earl's banjo to be next "break".
The first "break" (after the refrain) is done by Josh on his Dobro; the second "break" (after the refrain) is done by the fiddle guy; if Hylo had sung the THIRD verse there would be a THIRD "break": EARL ON HIS BANJO, of course. LOVE this crisp movin' song! Thanks a million! Bob (in Canada),

Let's not take Josh Graves (Dobro guy!) for granted either. He's somethin' else . . like Earl.
